West Ham are set to sign Pablo Zabaleta in the summer on a three-year deal

The 32-year-old Argentina international is out of contract at the end of the season.

And, according to TuttoMercatoWeb, he will make the move to the London Stadium on a three-year deal.

It's claimed the move will be rubber-stamped in June when Zabaleta's current deal expires.

Sky Sports reported earlier today that West Ham boss Slaven Bilic was considering a swoop for either Zabaleta or team-mate Bacary Sagna.

The Hammers have been weak at right-back this term with Sam Byram and Alvaro Arbeloa failing to convince.

Spanish veteran Arbeloa is set to leave the club when his contract expires in the summer.

Zabaleta joined City from Espanyol in 2008 and has made 224 appearances, helping the club to five major honours including two Premier League titles.

He has, however, fallen out of favour this term under Pep Guardiola, playing just 27 times.

Bilic looks set to be in charge of West Ham next season despite their disappointing campaign.

The club's board released a statement at the weekend, insisting speculation over his future was false.
