Shock new Maddie evidence REVEALED: TV show claims it’s solved McCann mystery


They want the clues to be given to police amid claims of a “major” breakthrough in the search for the missing child.

A documentary crew Down Under say they have unearthed a fresh lead into the youngster’s disappearance and will reveal all on telly this weekend.

Current affairs show Sunday Night, to be broadcast on Channel 7 in Australia, have released a teaser clip promising a “landmark television event”.

    Details of exactly what the new lead involves is unclear, but the 40-second show trailer involves new chats with a top criminologist and the former lead investigator in the Portuguese case.

    A spokesman for the family last night called on the Aussie telly channel to call police now and hand over their information.

    He said: “If the Australian TV show contains any credible, fresh lines of inquiry they should, of course, have been given immediately to the police.”

    It features an interview with original lead investigator Goncalo Amaral, the Portuguese policeman later taken off the case.

    There is also a chat with US criminal profiler Pat Brown.

    The expert has recently insisted that Maddie is “dead” and that her body has been moved to a “desolate location” and will never be found.
