Current affairs show Sunday Night, to be broadcast on Channel 7 in Australia, have released a teaser clip promising a “landmark television event”.

Tuesday, 31st January 2017Details of exactly what the new lead involves is unclear, but the 40-second show trailer involves new chats with a top criminologist and the former lead investigator in the Portuguese case.
A spokesman for the family last night called on the Aussie telly channel to call police now and hand over their information.
He said: “If the Australian TV show contains any credible, fresh lines of inquiry they should, of course, have been given immediately to the police.”
